DR. DOMINIQUE CAOUETTE Associate Professor, Department of Political Science Head, Southeast Asia Contemporary and Transdisciplinary Studies (ECTASE) Coordinator, Transnational Dynamics and Collective Action Research Network (REDTAC) After working for more than 7 years in international cooperation NGOs, Dominique joined the Department of Political Science of University of Montreal in 2004. His teaching focuses on transnational relations, Southeast Asia and development theories. In terms of research, he is interested in interactions between non-governmental players and multilateral processes in Asia, in different forms of collective action and resistance in rural areas, in particular in the Philippines, and lastly in international development issues and what is described as alterglobalism. In his research, he is trying to understand how transnational dynamics and activities by intranational and supranational social groups are helping to question state-centred approaches to international relations, and also approaches based on the study of formal political institutions. From June 2011 to May 2014, he headed up the East Asian Studies Center and is now coordinating the research group Transdisciplinary and Contemporary Southeast Asian Studies (ECTASE). |

JOHN EDISON UBALDO Research Assistant, Third World Studies Center University of the Philippines - Diliman Edison is currently an MA Anthropology student at the College of Social Sciences and Philosophies, University of the Philippines - Diliman. He graduated with a degree in Broadcast Communication from the same university. He started to get involved with community researches related to Disaster Management during his undergraduate years and has since pursued a career in field research. |

Christina Sayson Research Assistant University of the Philippines - Diliman Christina was part the Research Assistant of the project during the collection of baseline data for the project sites. She was part of the team which facilitated the initial fieldwork in Negros, Palawan and Mindanao. Currently, Christina is finishing her Master`s degree in Anthropology at UP Diliman |

JOEL F. ARIATE JR. University Researcher, Third World Studies Center University of the Philippines - Diliman Joel F. Ariate Jr. is University Researcher I with responsibilities for research and publications. He is the managing editor of the journal Kasarinlan: Philippine Journal of Third World Studies. Currently, he has written and done research on the history of the death penalty in the Philippines, state-civil society relations in the context of globalization, global civil society movement on debt relief in the Philippines, religious forces and bossism, and on memories of massacres and mass mobilizations. His previous research involvements include researches that looked at independence social movements, a social history of the Philippine revolution, a history of the Manila City Council, a history of the Manila Medical Society, the status of labor exchange relations among Filipino farmers, narratives of Death March witnesses, an annotation of Ponce and de Veyra's Efemerides Filipinas, and a research on one hundred Filipina pioneers in different fields. He studied history at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. |

PAMELA JOI. T. UBALDO Transcriber Pamela is an engineering graduate from the University of St. La Salle - Bacolod. While still enrolled as an undergraduate student, she became involved with the project as the one transcribing interviews from fieldwork in Negros, Palawan and Mindanao. |

SARAH VERNICE SISON Student Assistant University of the Philippines - Diliman Sarah is an undergraduate student at the Political Science Department of UP Diliman. She joined the project from September-December 2018 as the encoder for the land ownership data of the research sites. |

VIVIEN COTTEREAU Research Intern University of Montreal Vivien has an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Université de Montréal (UdeM) and joined the project as a research intern from May to August 2017. He was part of project team that facilitated fieldwork in Negros and Palawan, lasting around a month in each project site. He is currently working at a children’s rights defense NGO and is finishing his master's degree at UdeM Political Science department. |
